Southern California Junior Bach Festival

Congratulations to the students who are taught by teachers in our branch and who qualified to go to the 2026 State Finals in September: Claire Ding, Ray Fu, Astrea Archibald, Jayson Bordges, Daryn Tarasewicz, William Wang, and Milan Sudhakar Khare. We are proud of all of the students who performed at the May 16th regionals and congrats to the teachers as well.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA JUNIOR BACH FESTIVAL – DETAILS 

Type of Event: Competition. Three adjudicators select winners to perform in the Bach Regional Festival in May. This is an open audition in a recital format. Regional winners who perform works from the 2025 Complete Works list have the opportunity to compete at the Complete Works Auditions in the Fall.

Instruments: Piano

Registration: Go to the following website to create a new teacher account: scjbf.evensteps.com and pay the annual teacher fee of $35. Then you can add students to register them at this link: scjbf.evensteps.com 

Fee: $55 per student
