We will be having both the Baroque Festival and the Bach Festival this year.
BAROQUE FESTIVAL – DETAILS
Type of Event: Festival with written comments from three adjudicators. Students who participate in the Baroque Festival may play any original piece from memory by a composer from the Baroque period. These students will not be chosen to go on to Regionals. This is a great opportunity to have students learn Baroque pieces. Original sheet music is required to give to the judges.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA JUNIOR BACH FESTIVAL – DETAILS
Type of Event: Competition. Three adjudicators select winners to perform in the Bach Regional Festival in May. This is an open audition in a recital format. Regional winners who perform works from the 2025 Complete Works list have the opportunity to compete at the Complete Works Auditions in the Fall.
Instruments: Piano
