SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA JUNIOR BACH FESTIVAL – DETAILS
Type of Event: Competition. 3 adjudicators select winners to perform in the Bach Regional Festival in May. This will be a closed audition with only one parent to record their own child’s performance. Adjudicators select winners from the regional festival. Regional winners who perform works from the 2024 Complete Works list have the opportunity to compete at the Complete Works Auditions.
Instruments: Piano
Registration: Go to the following website to create a new teacher account: scjbf.evensteps.com and pay the annual teacher fee of $25. Then you can add students to register them at this link: scjbf.evensteps.com
Fee: $35 per student. Student registration fees are paid by mailing for all the students in your studio in one check payable to “Northern San Diego MTAC” to Grace Choi, our Branch Treasurer postmarked by March 4th. Her address will be provided in an email to teachers.

Baroque Festival: We are not having this part of the festival this year.
Congratulations to all 2024 Bach Festival participants! The students all played well with 26 students chosen as winners to move on to Regionals and 3 students receiving Honorable Mention. Thank you to Dana Burnett for being an amazing chair. We appreciate all of the teachers who entered and prepared the students.
